It’s not Khara Thel but it is my writing.

A Roadside Picnic and STALKER game inspired novel about two veteran Stalkers returning to the Zone. It follows Luka and Sasha on their trials as they try to rejoin the “Sons of Liberty” and make it big. Planned release will sell for PayPal and Bitcoin.

Another product released; this time d20 RUNE PATHS hits the virtual shelves at RPGNow.com

D20 RUNE PATHS at RPGNow.Com

Rune Paths are quasi-dimensional trails through forests that are slightly outside of space and time. Rangers are best at accessing them but Druids can, too. Using a Rune Path can greatly speed the travel of any group and lead to a very fast traversal of the forest. The risk is losing the trail which puts the lost person in the ‘primordial’ forest which sits slightly outside of time and space. The only way back out is on a Rune Path.

It’s only $5.00 so check it out.

KW Jackson has finished the draft for the second book of Bounty for the Taking. In this book the brothers continue their journey to reclaim their estate of Veldon after the great revelation at the end of the first.

Cavis heads back to Kliom Nagar to find out what is lacking in his ability to fight well. Atriaxe and Staifcairn plan to head to Ferris to find out the legal status of Veldon and how they might then go about reclaiming their family lands. Adventures and complications ensue.

Keep an eye out for this sequel to a bone-crunching good action fantasy story.

A Tale of Rum Town is a book I’ve written and published on Kindle. I’m running an experiment with Amazon’s algorithms but I need some help. If you’ve got a spare 2 minutes go to my Kindle book page for A Tale of Rum Town and add some tags. Put in whatever you think appropriate and any, or all, of these tags:

low magic

less than epic

criminal fantasy

fantasy adventure

fantasy

Tell your friends to jump on and add tags. I’d like to see how many tags can be added in a week.

Aqualii: a new module format

Comments Off on Aqualii: a new module format

Greg Christopher of Dark Horse Game Design has released his first commercial product; Aqualii Temple. What’s special about this otherwise standard dungeon-crawl is its format.

The PDF is a series of maps with interactive icons and graphics. You click on something and text pops up to tell you what it is. So rooms, doors, trap-symbols, and all that kind of thing is laid out and ready to retrieve its information with one-click. It’s a great idea and I’m confident it will continue to grow – like layer control in PDFs for print-purposes, hyperlinking indexes (indices) & tables of contents, and other uses of the various enhancements that PDFs support.

Given that only one out of 6 at my gaming table doesn’t use a laptop, and only 2 of 4 at my previous group (2 years ago), that says something about market size.

Go Greg!
